How are player statistical correlations calculated?

Statistical correlations are calculated using the Pearson correlation coefficient based on a player's game-by-game performance data. These correlations show relationships between different statistical categories (e.g., how minutes played correlates with points scored). Correlations are categorized as:
Strong Positive: Strong direct relationship
Strong Negative: Strong inverse relationship
Moderate: Moderate relationship
Weak: Weak relationship
These insights can help identify patterns in a player's performance.

What does the color coding in statistics mean?

Our color coding system helps you quickly identify the quality of different statistics:
Green: Excellent/high performance
Yellow: Good/average performance
Red: Below average/poor performance
For negative statistics like turnovers and fouls, the color scheme is reversed (green for low values, red for high values).
